The VAV supports the amendment to the provisions of the Financial Market Supervision Act (FINMAG)

The requirements for international cooperation between financial market supervisory authorities have evolved. The consultation draft takes these developments into account by improving cooperation and information exchange between FINMA and foreign financial market supervisory authorities overall. Effective and smooth cooperation between financial market supervisory authorities helps to ensure financial stability, market integrity and transparency in the financial markets and strengthens the reputation of Switzerland and its financial centre. In this respect, the VAV fundamentally supports the consultation draft.
